Leaving the teen years...

Well, I have been the sparkling age of 20 years for quite some time now. Try like two weeks. I feel that this is the appropriate length of time to report on coming of age. I feel that now I am officially a young adult. I mean it is kind of embarassing to tell people who you know are 21 or 22 or even 23 that you are just the quaint age of 19. But now I can proudly say that I have experienced two decades of life. That is quite the accomplishment I like to think.

Well my birthday was fabulous. I spent most of it with my Grandma Smith. I woke up and opened my parents present which is what I wanted most and needed most! Fat quarters for my quilt! I am making a beautiful yellow, white, black, and gray quilt for my comforter at school. It is going to be beautiful! I then went to my grandma's and ran some errands. We met up with my beautiful mother at Chevy's and experienced a delious meal of chips and salsa and my fave entree, Santa Fe salad. I also went to the Olive Garden with my Mother and Father on the previous Saturday to celebrate too. That was a tasty experience! Love that parentals! :* Grandma and I then proceeded to work on my roomie Lorraine's birthday present! I also got to work on my quilt too which I was pumped about.

I came home and ate a great meal of taco salad for my birthday meal, which is my fave also! We had a family party which consisted of chocolate cake and the grandparents and Uncle Bear' s family. So all in all, it was a great day! I got chips and salsa, colbie caillat, money, peanut butter and mini chocolate chips! I also bought myself the Michael Buble cd "Crazy Love" which I highly recommend and love to pieces!

But there is a dowm side to getting old. I have been experience some abdominal pain and burning sensations in my chest. Well the family diagnosis is ulcers and heart burn! Ahh! It is miserable because sometimes it prevents me from eating my faves! So I am learning that you trade life experiences for physical ailments.

But 20 is good. I also was a facebook celebrity on my birthday! Everyone just loves you so much when you celebrate the day of birth. But age 20 so far, gets two thumbs up!
